Townsend Farm Services

Pat Townsend is a certified farrier with more than 30 years of experience. Formal training is only half the story for Pat is an avid horseman as well. He has made a study of horses all his life and shoes with the wisdom that his experience as a horseman and his time at his craft have given him. Pat’s other passion is dogs -- all sizes and shapes. He has five or six of various breeds of his own and they are a wonder of good dog behavior. He draws a crowd when he walks them all at the same time. Check out the "Good Dogs” page on this site. Pat also volunteers some time to sick children in outreach programs with shoeing demonstrations a bit of hands on fun for all of them.
